The name of Active Directory Explorer is suggestive of what it can do that is providing an exploring Window for your active directories. This is a much better improved version of Windows Explorer that works for network as well as local directories.
Active Directory Explorer offers a slick Window that looks a bit like Windows Explorer. You will see the tree-like display of the directory in a left-pane. By clicking on a directory on the left-pane, the actual content of that directory can be seen on a right-pane. If the directory has embedded folders, they can be seen on that left-pane.
Better than Windows Explorer, Active Directory Explorer comes with lots of embedded features. One of these features is the comparison of security attributes for objects. Another feature lets you take a snapshot of the directory.
