When we hear Microsoft Outlook, the first thing that comes to mind is that it’s basic function is to send and at the same time receive emails. But aside from this, Microsoft Outlook 2010 offers a wide array of other features as well. One of its features that I use the most is I can create multiple accounts and receive emails from all these accounts simultaneously. I can quickly switch from one email to another without any fuss. Another great thing that I noticed when using this program is that is effectively scans the emails that I receive and immediately blocks phishing which is very vital. Anyone can use it from novice users to executives. But in order to maximize its use, you need to check out to the Help file to get familiar with all the functions available. Personally, I find this program ideal since I can easily scan the emails from my different accounts and as well as manage my contacts and other tasks.
- Neat design with various options
- With tools for task management
- Creating categories is not available
Microsoft Outlook Email client 2010 user review by James Meyette

Microsoft Outlook has been an integral part of Microsoft since the MS-DOS days. Version 8.0 released for Windows 97 in the year of 1997. Since then Microsoft Outlook has grown and become more popular. There have some competitors that have done an alright job in comparison, the best of which being by Mozilla but there still seems to be something to be desired if you got used to using Microsoft Outlook.
The ability to type documents in another Microsoft office program and send them from Microsoft Outlook was one of the best features offered when it was first available. Other than this it has features offered such as setting up SMTP mail boxes to your Outlook client so you can receive all your emails in one place and it keeps you signed in so you don't have to keep signing in which is great.
In conclusion Microsoft Outlook is a great email client unfortunately no longer freely available but if you purchase it. The price you pay is well worth the product.
- Clean and easy to use(nothing sub standard from Microsoft)
- Great functionality, nothing was underdelivered upon any release
- Some people would like the ability to have Outlook Express which is no longer available
- The price of Outlook is high for some

Sending snail mail and telegram are not so in demand today, instead, sending emails are the most eminent in this generation. Managing my email is the most problematic for me. I find it hard to organize my folders and mailboxes. I experienced using this proprietary email application tool that provides not just receiving and sending of emails, but also can manage my contacts, meetings, tasks and a lot more. I found the interface to be impeccable and well layout design. I spent more time browsing the Help feature to augment my utilization of the application. Another fascinating feature is the social media integration which allows me to view additional information in my list of contacts, not just name and email. Also, I found this tool boost its blocking of phishing attempts and spam filtering. All in all, new cool add-ons and inclusions to this software application tool are very beneficial. The downside is that it more convoluted and needs some time to learn the additions. It is highly recommended for top executive managers with very complex schedules.
- It has managing and organizing features for calendars, emails, etc.
- It has a primary interface
- It is complex for new users
