If you’re a digital photographer, you’ve probably experienced this scenario: after taking photos and uploading them on your laptop, you accidentally delete a few shots that you didn’t mean to delete. And the worst part of this scenario is, you’ve set your Recycle Bin to automatically delete. Which means, you now just can’t simply recover your precious photos. This is where recovery software comes in. Recovery software are programs that helps users to recover files that have been deleted and is also no longer in the Recycle Bin. For digital photos, a specialized recovery application is available today. That software is Photo Recover-Center.
Photo Recover-Center does exactly what its name implies – recover deleted photos. I decided to try out this software myself and was relatively satisfied to see what it can do. Photo Recover-Center has a wizard-like process flow. I was pleased to see that all viewable options are already visible and selectable, thanks to a tree-structure formation. You can choose which drive to recover. All drives that are accessible will be shown – both internal and external. I was also surprised that, even though it’s the software’s name, Photo Recover Center can also recover images, video and even audio files. You can choose which type or types you want the software to recover. The recovery process itself is a bit longer than other recovery software but this means, according to the developers, that a more thorough and deeper scan is taking place.
All in all, Photo Recover-Center is a pretty decent recovery and undelete application. Though it doesn’t guarantee that you’ll recover all your deleted files, you’ll have higher chances of finding and undeleting the one that you need.

Recovers not only photos but also images, videos and audio
A longer recovery time but considering the reason, may not really be a disadvantage at all
